Serving as the new maintenance hangar for Southwest Airlines at the Denver International Airport, Cornerstone completed the full painting and coatings scope with Swinerton Construction. The 130,000 SF facility included off-site painting in Cornerstone's Production Facility prior to steel being delivered to the site.
Proud that Kiewit trusted Cornerstone for their Corporate Headquarters located in Lone Tree, CO. The site consisted of 2 state of the art office buildings, 900 space parking garage, and site area for the more than 900 Kiewit employees that will call it home. Cornerstone performed painting, coatings, and wall coverings on all buildings directly for Kiewit.
McGregor Square completed in 2021 by Hensel Phelps, Cornerstone served as the prime painting and wall covering contractor on The Rally Hotel. Ending contract value at over $1 million this staple Downtown Denver project is one Cornerstone is proud of!
Cornerstone has long been a partner to Westminster Public Schools. In 2020 we partnered with Adolfson & Peterson Construction to re-paint Westminster campuses Early Childhood Education, Fairview, and Scott Carpenter.
Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center saw Cornerstone Coatings perform the interior painting, wall covering, and high performance coatings at the largest Resort and Convention Center in the Denver Metro Area. This highly successful project was performed for the Mortenson-Welbro Joint Venture.
The staple of Black Hawk Casino district the Monarch Casino Expansion was completed in 2018 with PCL Construction. A unique opportunity to work on the largest Casino in the Denver Region, Cornerstone performed all painting, high performance coatings, and wall covering.
The largest project to date for Cornerstone, the VA Replacement Medical Facility with the Kiewit - Turner Joint Venture proved to be a stepping stone in our history. The $10 million painting contract completely self-performed and bonded by Cornerstone was a great challenge for our team. Finishing strong and on time is something we are proud of to this day.
Following the 2017 hail storm in Denver Metro, Cornerstone was called upon by the Beck Group to provide over 50 painters to re-paint the Colorado Mills Mall as quickly as possible. Mobilized to swiftly complete the over $2 million in re-painting within months Conerstone had the Mall looking brand new once again.
Cornerstone performed the painting and coatings for all the steel pedestrian bridges located over the Denver, CO I-25 corridors for the multi-billion dollar TREX development.
This space age designed bridge stretches over railroad tracks leading from the US Olympic Museum to America the Beautiful Park. Painted for Kiewit Infrastructure with a high performance Urethane system this bridge is now a staple of the Colorado Springs skyline.
Moltz Construction completed in early 2022 the first BIOCOS treatment plant in the US. This one of a kind project located in Center, CO is an air pressured filtration system for waste water. Cornerstone performed the secondary containment coatings by Tnemec on the interior of the tank along with pipe painting and commercial painting at the process building.
Cornerstone performed sand blasting and high performance coatings on structural steel, flooring, and exterior painting on the newly renovated Rec. Center with Pinkard Construction.

As part of the DIA Concourse C Expansion, Cornerstone Coatings blasted and painted the high end metallic finish on over 100 window frames slated to hold in place curtain wall along the concourse. Performed directly for Alliance Glazing as part of the Holder/FCI Joint Venture.
As part of the manufacturing process GPT Industries slated Cornerstone to perform the high performance blasting and coatings on their oil & gas midstream manufacturing process. These oil & gas joints used to connect pipelines proved to be a great project as we utilized plural component urethane products.
